What is an ISI Conference?
For one Saturday, men from all over southeast Michigan come together to experience biblical teaching and equipping for all areas of life. With two keynote sessions, 16 seminar options, and a host of ministries with resources, men of all ages (13 and older) find relevant and practical ways to equip them for godly living.

Morning Keynote Speaker: Dave Wilson
Dave Wilson is the Co-Host of Family Life Today and author of Vertical Marriage and No Perfect Parents. Detroit Lions Chaplain for 33 seasons and cofounder of Kensington Church. Married with 3 sons and daughters-in-law and 6 grandchildren.

Afternoon Keynote Speaker: Don Davis
11-year NFL veteran and two-time Super Bowl champion Don Davis believes his long tenure as a player was so that he could minister to athletes. After his retirement in 2007 from the Patriots, he joined their team as a strength and conditioning coach and team chaplain. He later followed the Lord’s calling to full-time ministry. A devoted husband and loving father, Don speaks regularly to men and to churches. His prayer is that through humility, honesty, transparency and authenticity, all will see God shining through him on a daily basis.

Ten Minutes That Transform
David Maddox
Ten Minutes That Transform, Leeds, AL
For Pioneering and Full Throttle Men (ages 20-54)
When asked what commandment was the greatest, Jesus quoted Deuteronomy 6:5: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.” What follows the greatest commandment is instruction to impress God’s truths on your heart, and to “impress them on your children; talk about them when you sit at home, walk along the road, lie down and rise up” (6:6-7). This seminar is a practical application of this transforming truth – the ministry of God’s word – as we have experienced in raising five kids who love the Lord.

Clarity in the Culture of Confusion
Abdu Murrary
Embrace the Truth International, Detroit, MI
The culture of today has mistaken autonomy for freedom, elevated feelings and preferences over facts and truth. This seminar will equip us on how we can restore people’s desire for truth in a world that has rejected it.

Become a Healing Church
Sam Black
Covenant Eyes, Owosso, MI
Children, teens, men and women, and even church staff are being impacted by pornography. Christian and secular studies show pornography reduces church attendance, individual faith, feelings of closeness to God, scripture and prayer life, and volunteerism in the local church. However, churches addressing issues like pornography will reverse all of these factors in people’s lives. When the local church sets its heart on this work, that church becomes stronger, producing servants who give greater care to others and make their pastors’ workloads easier.

Neurobiology & Scripture: Healing Pathways to Addiction Recovery
Rob Shive
Oakland Hills Counseling, Auburn Hills, MI
We all have and deal with addictions. Scripture and science are not necessarily exclusive in showing us pathways to heal and move forward stronger from these addictions. Let’s dive in to how scripture and science are inclusive and what they can tell us.

The Battle For Our Culture
George Posthumus
Legacy Coalition, Dallas, TX
Never in the history of our nation has spiritual warfare been more intense. Satan’s unholy trinity – the world, the flesh and the devil are our enemies. Now more than ever we need to be equipped for battle. This seminar will take us to Ephesians 6 for our armor for battle.
